Field Trips
We go on exciting adventures out of camp at least once a week! While we're all about fresh experiences, some iconic trips have become our campers' favorites year after year.
Join us for thrilling outings like a Boston Red Sox game, Water Wizz, Mountain Climbing, exploring the Boston Science Museum, Canobie Lake Park, Six Flags Adventure Park, Deep Sea Fishing, and Whale Watching. With a range of options, we ensure every camper's interests and ages are catered to.
Overnight Trips
We have several opportunities for campers to embark upon multi-day adventures outside of camp!
- Starting with our 11 year old campers’ trip to the Berkshires! During this Sophomore Overnight, campers get to sleep under the stars, hike through scenic trails, take refreshing swims, and discover hidden waterfalls.
- Our Bunk 14ers get to experience a personalized, multi-day adventure in Maine! From camping to white water rafting with professional guides, every trip is tailored to camper interests.
- We also have our overnight canoe trip! All Senior Division canoeing enthusiasts train with certified counselors all summer long, then embark on a 3-day journey to test their skills on Maine's rapids!
But that's not all- Bunk counselors can organize special out-of-the-bunk overnights in the woods or on our sandy beach, so that children of all ages get to experience the magic of camping!
Israel Trip
Join Camp Avoda on our unforgettable journey to Israel! Each year, we partner with Birthright and Mayanot to offer a free trip to Israel for our campers, staff members, and alumni aged 19-26. It's an incredible opportunity to explore Israel with your best friends from Camp Avoda!
