Russell Sherman
President

Russell is a partner at CJP Communications in New York where he specializes in media strategy, crisis management, financial communications, and branding. Prior to joining CJP, he founded Sherman Strategic Communications LLC, a public relations, marketing and communications consulting firm. From 1999-2008 Russell worked at The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. where he served as head of Corporate Public Relations. Working closely with Bear Stearns’ executive team, Russell helped develop the firm’s brand strategy and coordinate its media relations and crisis communications activities. In addition, he oversaw the communications efforts for Bear Stearns’ numerous business units. Russell was also a reporter and anchor for New York 1 News in New York City. A graduate of Colgate University Russell lives with his wife Lisa Weitzman and two children Owen 8 and Maya 4 in Westport Connecticut.

Robert Zuker

Since 2003, Robert has been the Chief Operating Officer at Chestnut Hill Realty (CHR) based in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He currently sits on CHR’s Executive, Investments, Operations, and Green Committees and supervises the Human Resources, Administrative Services, Purchasing and IT departments. Bobby is also involved in acquisitions and development as well as finding, analyzing, and pursuing new opportunities on behalf of CHR. Bobby received a BBA from Emory University in Atlanta. Bobby is an active member of Temple Beth Avodah in Newton and serves on its board of directors as chairman of the budget and financial oversight committees. He recently joined the board of the newly formed Brookline Teen Center. In 2005 Bobby received the Mac Burstein Award from Jewish Big Brother Big Sister Association of Massachusetts for his work on strategic financial planning. Also in 2005, the Brookline GreenSpace Alliance nominated Bobby its annual “Environmental Leader” in recognition of his significant contributions to parks and open spaces in Brookline through dedication and volunteerism. Bobby attended Camp Avoda from 1984 to 1997, served as a board member of the Camp Avoda Alumni Association, and joined the Camp Avoda Board of Directors in 2003. He has served as Vice President and Treasurer since 2006. Bobby lives in Brookline with his wife Molly, son Charlie (an Avodian to-be), and his daughter Lulu.
