Tribute or Memorial Gifts
You may choose to make a tribute or a memorial gift in honor or in memory of someone or to recognize a special occasion. This is fine way to honor an individual or group in recognition of their achievement (personal or professional) such as an anniversary, birthday, B’nei Mitzvot, marriage, the birth of a child or grandchild, graduation, or other happy occasion. You may also make a gift in someone’s memory on the occasion of a recent passing or yahrtzeit. While you will receive an appropriate acknowledgment of your gift, the person(s) whom you honor or in whose memory you donate will receive an attractive personalized note card noting the occasion and that a gift has been made by you in their honor or memory.

A donation of securities or property such as bonds, stocks, mutual funds or real estate can be a cost effective way to support Camp Avoda. A gift in this way may also help to reduce your tax obligations.
After providing for your loved ones, what better way to commemorate summers of good memories and skills learned than a bequest in your will to Camp Avoda and create a lasting legacy. Your name and generosity will live on in the generations of those campers who come after you and who benefit from your gift. Matching Gifts Corporate Programs
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Corporate matching gift programs support company employees, spouses, and/or retirees in their personal philanthropy and fundraising efforts. Corporate matching gifts are a great way for you to maximize your personal contribution to Avoda and to increase the impact of your gift. By taking advantage of your company’s matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of your contribution. Ask your corporate human resources department if your company offers a matching gift program.
